Thanks to the support of the followers in the Wood River Valley, the Ketchum city council is conducting work session to hear information about Ketchum going smokefree.
While Ketchum is nearly 100% smokefree already, there is no ordinance currently in place to keep it that way. At any point, a new bar could open their doors allowing smoking inside—putting employees and patrons at risk.
This meeting will be open for public comment. Please come support those presenting at the meeting and/or provide your own comments on why Ketchum should be a smokefree city.
Ketchum residents are encouraged to attend the work session to show their support on Tues. Jan. 22. The meeting will be at 7:30.
If unable to attend, contact your local city council member to voice support before the meeting.
